2. Holders of a residence permit issued by EU or European economy state
3. Holders of a residence permit issued by Japan, Republic of San Marino, Principalities of Andorra
4. The family members of a citizen of the European Union, European economic space of Switzerland
5. Holders of Schengen visa, residence permit issued by a Schengen state or long-stay national visa

France Transit Visa Requirement

A VALID INTERNATIONAL PASSPORT

A valid international passport of the applicants is required which must not be less than 10years from issuance. The validity of your passport should at least be 3-months beyond the return date on your visa. Your old passport (if any) should be carried along with copies of previous visas with 2 empty pages and photocopy of the data page

PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH

Your biometric passport photographs must show all facial characteristics taken on plain white background with sizes 45mm × 35mm. The photographs should be glued to the visa application form.

RETURN TICKET

COVER LETTER

An official cover letter duly stamped and signed is required from the employer stating the reasons for traveling to your final destination and how is related to your work. A complete travel itinerary is required for transit visa France for Indian citizens if traveling for work

REQUIREMENT FOR SEAFARERS

• A cover letter from the applicant duly signed
• A document showing the right of entry to the final destination
• Documents showing the reason for traveling (a work contract revealing the ship’s nationality, letter invitation from the shipping company, a confirmation letter from the shipping company, candidate record books as a seafarer and a valid seafarer certificate)
• Past 3years visa with entry stamps(Schengen, US, UK or Canadian visa)
• A valid medical certificate showing no transmittable or dangerous illness

REQUIREMENT FOR PARIS TRANSIT VISA FOR AIR-COMPANY STAFF MEMBER

• A confirmation letter of the candidate as an employee of the airline company
• Airline company staff member Id card
• Official letter from the airline company
• A valid work contract of the candidate from the airline company
